Lawmaker Vows To Ensure Victory For AC
THE councilor representing Imiegile Okpella (Ward 5) of Etsako East Local Government Area, Edo State, Hon. Dirisu Abudu Iraq has promised to work tirelessly for the victory of the Action Congress (AC) in the next general elections.
Hon. Dirisu Iraq who made the promise recently in a chat with The SUNDAY OBSERVER, called on all the people in the locality to support the party and embrace the one-man, one-vote campaign of Comrade Governor Adams Oshiomhole, adding that the AC as a party is made up of tested and trusted politician that will record victory for the party.
The lawmaker who advised the people of the locality to ensure that men and women of impeccable characters are elected into political offices in the forthcoming local government council polls, urged the people of the local government, particularly ward 5 to support the aspiration of Chief Tunde Ajie, who according to him is vying for the position of chairman of the local government, under the platform of the Action Congress.
He pointed out that Chief Ajie has all it takes to lead the people of the locality, stressing that his pedigree speaks volume.
Hon. Dirisu described Ajie as a mobilizer and organizer whose exit from the peoples Democratic party (PDP) on his capacity as the local government party chairman has changed the political landscape in Okpella.
He hinted that as a God-fearing politician who have the interest of the party and the people at heart, Ajie will not let the AC and the people of the locality down.
The legislator therefore enjoined the people of the local government to support Comrade Adams Oshiomhole in his commitment to better the lots of the people.
