Slizzy Ehimen popularly known as Slizzy- E has been crowned the best Hip Hop artiste of the year in the whole of South South geopolitical zone.

He won the award at the just concluded Lock Down Entertainment South – South Music Awards held in Benin – City.

Slizzy – E won the Best Hip – Hop, artiste of the year with “Lanko remix” and he also won the Best Video of the year with “Edo Boy” wherein he featured Terry –G.

With “Lanko remix,” Ajayi scenelock won the best Director of the year for directing Slizzy – E in the music.

Meanwhile, franchize won the best R &B Solo of the year with “Gbastika” music. Best Collabo of the year went to Maleke with the Song “Low Waist”. Best Raggae Dance Hall artiste of the year was won by Frank D. Nero.

Samsung was crowned the Gospel artiste of the year, and the best female gospel of the year was bestowed on Kefee.

Best R& B Group was awarded to BNG. And the Best New Artiste of the year went to Zaga with the song entitled “Time”.

The best High Life artiste of the year was won by Mc loph with “Ossondi Owendi.

The Best Hip – Hop (non indigenous) was bestowed on Nite House with “Finest” while Ill Bliss with the song “Aiye Po Gan” was crowned the most populous video (non indigenous) of the year. Finally the most popular Artiste (Diaspora) was won by Spice Vision with “No control”.
