AUCHI – Five members of staff of Auchi Polytechnic, Auchi, Edo State have been nominated to participate in the design of a new curriculum for the proposed Bachelors of Technology (B. tech) degree programme expected to be awarded by the polytechnics.
They are Engr. Lemmy Ogie-Aitsabokhai, Director of Academic Planning, Engr. Peter Eyong, Mr. Hope Iyawe, Mr. Thomas Ogunobo and Engr. E.U. Onoche.
The nominees are to participate in the design of curriculum for Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Surveying and Geo informatics, Electrical Engineering and Urban and Regional Planning.
Meanwhile, the management of the institution says it has implemented the contiss 15 salary scale for its staff.
A release by the Office of Information and Public Relations, Rector’s Office said the implementation of the salary scale took effect in October following the approval by the federal government adding that arrears consequent on the salary approval which took effect from January 2009 would be paid in due course.
