Esan South East Receives Face of Edo Queens

UBIAJA- Prince Ojiemhenkele Andrew, Chairman, Esan South East Local Government Council has been described as an exceptional leader, unique and transparent with good intention for the well being of the people of the area .


The president of the “Face of Edo” Prince Eric Odigie disclosed this at Ubiaja, the administrative headquarters of the council when he paid a courtesy call on the chairman and commended him for the developmental strides he had undertaken since assumption of office.


Prince Eric Odigie, disclosed that the council boss since assumption of office had brought hope to people at the grassroots through the delivering of the dividends of democracy to the common people.


Prince Odigie disclosed that they were in the council to intimate the chairman on the role of the Face of Edo project saying as a non indigenous, it was aimed at unifying the nation by involving non-indigenes into the Culture of Edo, promote tourism, taken charge and care of the female-child and the destitute.


He stated also the Face of Edo was to make Edo the hub of tourism in the country and solicited for assistance to sustain the tempo.


In response the council boss, Prince Andrew urged the organizers to always guide the beauty queens on the right direction and advised against social vices like prostitution and human trafficking, amongst others.
