BENIN CITY- Edo State Government through its Board of Internal Revenue, has approved 20 pools promoters to operate pools betting business this week in the state.
A statement signed by the Permanent Secretary Chairman Board of Internal Revenue, Edo State Dr. Osayande Uyiagbe listed the approved pools promoters to include:
Rocky pools limited, Soccer pools limited, Flash pools limited Moonborn pools limited, Victino pools limited, Jubilee pools limited, Perfect pools limited, Destiny pools limited Darlinton pools limited, Mars pools limited, Wesco pools limited, Bolton pools limited, and Arsenal pools limited,
Also approved are: Authentic pools limited, J. Res pools limited, Uwanosa pools limited, Ehimama pools limited, Wigan pools limited, Portsmoth pools limited, and Benco pools limited.
According to the statement, three pools promoters were barred from operating pools betting business this week in Edo State, due to their indebtedness to the state government. They include: New Niger pools limited, Afelisco pools limited and C.B.A. pools limited.
The release enjoined members of the public to transact pools betting business with only those approved, as anyone who ignored the advice did so at his own risk, just as the statement added that it promoters are to note that the approved commission is 40k according to the extant rules on pools betting and no bonanza in Edo State.
