SAHCOL’s Chief Operating Officer Visits Lagos Airport Commandant



LAGOS - The Chief Operating Officer of the Skyway Aviation Handling Company Ltd (SAHCOL), Mr. Isaac Orolugbagbe has paid a courtesy call on the Murtala Mohammed Airport Commandant, Group Captain B Garba as part of his familiarization visit to Stakeholders in the industry.


The COO informed the commandant that the successful privatization of SAHCOL has now placed the company in a position to look for ways of providing state of the art services without loosing money.


Mr. Orolugbagbe assured the Airport Commandant that henceforth discipline in SAHCOL will improve, while response to customer’s needs will be faster.
Responding, Group Captain Garba promised that his command will continue to give SAHCOL the support that will enhance job performance.


He also paid a similar visit to the Director of the State Services, Lagos Airport Command, during the visit, the Director recognizes SAHCOL as one of its collaborators, stating that a lot of problems could be addressed informally than formally, he stated that security business has to do with time, hence it will require maximum cooperation from all stakeholders while praying that SAHCOL in the new dispensation and leadership of Isaac Orolugbagbe will be taken to enviable height.


SAHCOL, which came out of the ashes of the liquidated Nigerian Airways, was recently, after a very transparent privatization process handed over to the SIFAX Group, through its subsidiary company, Skyway Aviation Handling Company Limited.


At the moment, SAHCOL is retooling, having placed order for state-of-the-art equipment to boost its operations, while construction work at the cargo warehouse in Lagos is on the fast track.
