ABUJA-National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Prince Vincent Eze Ogbulafor, has ordered the immediate relocation of all National Vice Chairmen of the party to their zones and evicted them from their offices at the Wadata Plaza national Secretariat of the party.
The relocation order followed revelations that most of the National Vice Chairmen have been spending more time in Abuja instead of attending to party matters in their zones.
The National Vice Chairmen, who are leaders of the party in the six geo-political zones, were allocated the recently partitioned first floor offices of the party by the national leadership of the party to enable them to function as unofficial members (Observers) of the National Working Committee (NWC).
Defunct Manni Bank had occupied a portion of the ground and first floor of Wadata plaza before the building was purchased by the PDP from the previous owner for over N600million.
A source in the party secretariat said the eviction of the National Vice chairmen was to rectify an administrative blunder by the leadership of the party since the Vice Chairmen are expected to operate from their zones and not from the National Secretariat of the party.
There has been crisis in some state chapters of the party especially the South East, South West and South
