Edo PDP to set up disciplinary committee

PORT-HARCOURT – The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Edo State has concluded plans to set up a disciplinary committee as provided for by the party’s Constitution.

This was disclosed by the State Publicity Secretary of the Party in Edo State, Prince (Dr.) Francis Omo-Osunde Iyasere, while fielding questions from newsmen in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State Capital, recently.

He noted that the party was not unaware that lack of rule of law and due process informed the high level of indiscipline within the party, adding that the new PDP and its leadership would ensure that every decision taken was hinged on the rule of law and due process.

Prince Iyasere opined that the constitution of the party would henceforth be respected and would form the basis on which every decision flows, stressing that when this was done, any member of the party that erred would then be liable.
