Benin city - The Secretary of Edo State Task-Force on Forestry Mr. Emmanuel Ogbomo has described Governor Oserheimen Osunbor as one who has strong passion for the overall development of Edo State.
Mr. Ogbomo who is also the Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP) in Ovia South West Local Government Area made this known while speaking with newsmen after the thanksgiving service to mark the governor’s birthday said the testimonies of the developmental strides of the governor were everywhere adding that given more time, he will turn Edo State to a place where everybody will be proud of.
He however enjoined PDP supporters in Ovia South West to remain calm and hopeful adding that Prof. Osunbor is the man ordained by God to bring succour to the people of Edo State at this point in time and expressed confidence that the appeal would go in his favour, which he (Ogbomo)s attributed to some notable fundamental errors in the March 20, 2008 judgement delivered by the tribunal.
On the PDP crisis, Mr. Ogbomo said the party in Ovia South West was waxing stronger in unity and that “faction does not exist in the party” stressing that the unity of the party in the area has led to over 300 AC members decamping to PDP recently.
