spent a whopping N52m on examination malpractices in the state. Not a few Edo citizens were impressed by this pronouncement. This is because until he left office, Edo State continued to be the No. 1 examination miracle centre in the universe. So, on what project was the money really spent on people asked. Yar’Adua Remains Nigeria’s President

A seven-man panel of the Nigerian Supreme Court yesterday, delivered a verdict upholding the legitimacy of Umaru Yar’Adua’s election in April 2007, just as it lambasted Prof. Maurice Iwu-led Independent National Electoral Commission for not complying with the provisions of the 2006 Electoral Acts in the conduct of the polls.
