FUGAR – Over 30 U-16 female clubsides will participate in the march past kicking off the 9th edition of Chief Mike Oghiadomhe Gold Cup tournament here at Obe Primary School pitch beginning from 3-30 pm this afternoon.
The annual tournament organised by Edo YSFON to honour Chief Mike Oghiadomhe, Edo State former Deputy Governor now Principal Secretary to the Vice President, Mr. Goodluck Jonathan, will have the preliminary matches played at St. John’s Boys Model College and Obe Primary School both at the hosting local government of Etsako Central.
Edo State Commissioner for Youth and Sports Mr. Brown Ebewele will be special guest of honour, Mrs. Herrienta Ugheoke, Chairperson Women Development Programme, Etsako Central Local Government will be guest of honour while the Chief host will be Hon. Joseph Ugheoke, Chairman Etsako Central Local Government.
The Royal Father of the day will be H.R.H. Patrick Oboarekpe Ogie Avianwu of Avianwu.
