BENIN CITY- Edo State Government has advised owners of unserviceable and broken-down vehicles on the roads to remove them on or before Wednesday, October 15, 2008.

It also warned that failure to remove the vehicles, would not only lead to such vehicles being towed away but would also attract penalties before such vehicles could be released.

A statement signed by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Sanitation and Beautification and chairman, Edo State Beautification committee, Hon. (Mrs.) Pat Adamu, explained that it was unwholesome for motorists to abandon unserviceable and broken-down vehicles, pointing out that the abandoned vehicles constituted danger to other road users and environmental nuisance.
