Ministry Receives 195 Bids

BENIN CITY – 195 construction firms on Tuesday in Benin City, tendered their bids to the Ministry of Works and Utilities, Edo State, for construction and re-construction of roads in Benin City and environs.

The exercise which was conducted by the Special Assistant to Governor on Due Process Hon. Andy Egbadon who assured the construction firms who tendered their bids that due process would be followed for the selection. In his words: The process will be free and fair, so that every person will witness the exercise”.

Total of 33 roads are being awarded in the second phase of road construction by the administration of Prof. Oserheimen Osunbor in Edo State. For either construction or reconstruction of these failed portions of the roads.

Some of these roads are Adolor by Ugbowo, Five unction, Urubi Street, Akpakpava and Uwa Street amongst others.
