By CLIFFORD AGBAJOR

BENIN CITY ––Emai Development Union, Benin Branch, yesterday in Benin City, paid a sympathy visit to Justice Roland Amaize, Chairman of Edo State Local Government Appeal Tribunal, whose official residence at No. 6 Delta Crescent, off Ikpokpan Road, Benin City, was recently gutted by fire.

Speaking on behalf of the group, the chairman of Emai Development Union, Benin Branch, Major Moses Ideho (rtd), acknowledged the havoc that had been done by the inferno to properties, including documents.

He, however, thanked God for saving the life of the judge and members of his family during the incident.

Chief Ideho stated that though individuals from Emai, Owan East Local Government Area had at one time or the other visited Justice Amaize to express their heart felt sympathy to him since his official residence was razed, they however deemed it imperative to visit him as a group, as an indigene of Emai, to show their concern as well as to serve as a source of encouragement and inspiration to him.

Responding, Justice Roland Amaize, thanked the Emai Development Union, Benin branch for the visit, and expressed delight that he had in no small measure been encouraged and strengthened by the visit.
