UYO- The National Secretariat of the PDP, Abuja , has confirmed Mr. Ita Etuk,as the party’s Chairman in Akwa Ibom.

Gov. Godswill Akpabio of Akwa Ibom, said this when the Ibesikpo/Asutan Consultative Forum paid him a courtesy visit in Uyo, saying “Etuk’s election is a concluded matter’’.

’ “The PDP has accepted the congresses held at the ward, local government and state levels as the most credible, fair and transparent,” he said.

Akpabio, who advised the PDP chairman to begin the process of reconciliation with his political opponents, said “in every game there must be a loser and a winner”.

The governor assured the forum that work would soon start on the Aka-Nung Udoe-Ibesikpo-Asutan road.
