CAF Champions League:Al Ahly Ambush Enyimba

By NICHOLAS EBOIGBE

CAIRO –Nigeria’s representative in the CAF Champions League, Enyimba will play a dicey game with the Egyptian Club, Al-Ahly in the second leg semi final cracker in Egypt today.

Both sides battled to a goaless draw in Aba two weeks back, a disappointing result on the part of the Nigerian team that has made the supporters to become pessimistic about their success in the second leg.

Despite the lackluster showing of the Peoples Elephant, Coach Austin Eguavoen and his wards are still confident of victory in today’s match.

The tournament’s highest goal scorer and the Aba side’s prolific forward, Stephen Worgu has boasted that his team is battle ready to triumph.

“The second leg will be very tough because Al-Ahly will do everything to attack in a bid to win him. We will capitalize on their over confidence and do the damage.”

But suffice it to say that today’s game will not be easy for the Nigerian teem because the North Africans will showcase some tricks to undo them.
