BENIN CITY - For indebtedness to Edo State Government, three pools promoter have been barred by the state government from undertaking pools betting business this week.
They include, New Niger Pools Limited, Felisco Pools Limited, and C.B.A. Pools Limited.
This was contained in a released endorsed by the Permanent Secretary and Chairman, Board of Internal Revenue, Edo State, Dr. Osayande Ugiagbe.
The statement further stated that the underlisted 20 pools promoters had been authorised to undertake pools betting this week.
They are Rocky Pools Limited, Soccer Pools Limited, Flash Pools Limited, Moonborn Pools Limited, Victino Pools Limited, Jubilee Pools Limited, Perfect Pools Limited, Destiny Pools Limited and Darlington Pools Limited.
Others are Mars Pools Limited, Wesco Pools Limited, Bolton Pools Limited, Arsenal Pools Limited, Authentic Pools Limited, J-Res Pools Limited, Uwanosa Pools Limited, Ehimama Pools Limited, Wigan Pools Limited, Portsmouth Pools Limited and Benco Pools Limited.
The release further advised Pools stakers not to transact pools betting with the barred three promoters as any promoters who transact pools betting illegally would be prosecuted just as it added that 40K commission had been approved and there was no bonaza in Edo State.
