BAYELSA United FC of Yenagoa today has another herculean task at hand as they dare Wikki Tourists of Bauchi in week 2 clash billed for Tafawa Balewa Stadium.
The club’s media officer, Ebi Avi speaking on the club’s present strength averred that they are prepared for any club this season home or away.
“In this season, we have very good bench that can be relied on, hence I can say confidently that we are very prepared for any team that comes our way this season home or away match.
“But, we will be releasing them gradually. They have all been tested and accepted during our training tour of Ghana.
Against Wikki today, it is certainly not going to be easy, but with the calibre of players on ground we can pick a point if not the maximum points,” he affirmed
Certainly, the Media officer is not far from the truth as two priced Beijing Olympic stars – Chubuzor Okonkwo and Efe Ambrose have been signed for the season.
No doubt, Bayelsa’s first clash which they won convincingly by 4-0 against Tornadoes enough to scare any opponent.
But, the question is, can the Yenagoa boys cause another upset against Wikki that held Akure Sunshine Stars to a goalless draw in Week 1 in Bauchi today?
