DEACON Monday Ossai Omolu the Chairman PDP Ukwuani Local Government Area of Delta State, and the President-General of Umutu Development union (UDU), has said that “we should learn to live in peace with other people.”
According to him, “the nearest group to ensure peace is the vigilante group, saying that is why he encourages the group by assisting it with whatever he can afford.
He called on well meaning Umutu indigenes to contribute their own quota to boost the outfit to help the community protect life and property, adding that the outfit needs gun, torch lights, rain coast, motorcycles, vehicles, and some money.
The Chairman said those who have volunteered their life to protect other people’s life and property by damming every risk should be encouraged, saying he would soon unveil another package of security materials for the outfit.
Deacon Ossai said that being the chairman of PDP in Ukwuani meant a lot to him and that he would not play with it. He advised PDP faithful to remain steadfast because the chance for Anioma to present governor is at hand.
He called on all PDP faithful to push aside grudges and sentiments, and come under one umbrella of love so that the rain of blackmail and political calumny will not drench them, adding that those who decamped to other parties have their personal interests and are not faithful politicians.
The chairman said the PDP in the area was embarking on what he described as Jehovah witness campaign, stressing by going form house to house, adding that vote cast for other parties would be wasted votes.
