Kaduna – Dr. Abdul-Alimi Bello, the President of the Kaduna Chamber of Commerce, industry, Mines and Agriculture, said many participants gained both in terms of cash sales and showcasing their new products from the Kaduna International Trade Fair which ended on Sunday in Kaduna.
Bello said at the closing ceremony of the 36th edition of the fair that many participants exchanged ideas, new products and wares with new customers and clients, resulting to development of several business relationships.
He added that the investors had taken advantage of the fair to see for themselves several areas of investment opportunities and made personal inquiries from promoters of the investment.
“We will appeal to you to make use of your contact so that we can expect you in greater force in 2016.
“The chamber is anxious to know and share experiences and benefits which exhibitors have gained during the fair by informing through writing, the volume of sales or promotion,’’ he said.
Bello said this would enable the chamber to have access to the success or pay attention to areas that required improvement.
“We have conducted an economic survey of the fair and we assure you that we shall improve on our organisational ability based on comments,’’ he added.
He said that the 2016 trade fair would commence on February 26 to March 6.
In his address, Gov. Mukhtar Yero, expressed appreciation to the president and council members for the successful completion of the trade fair.
Yero, who was represented by Alhaji Samaila Aliyu, the State Commissioner for Finance, urged the investors to use their contacts to promote businesses as well as boost the nation’s economy.
