SAPELE –  Edo State Governor, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole was among the array of dignitaries in Sapele, Delta State to pay their last respect in Sapele, Delta State to late Chief Benson Owumi of Okpe Kingdom who died recently at the age of 91 years.
The late Owumi is the father-in-law-to the daughter  of Governor Oshiomhole, Dr. Winifred Owumi.
The venue of the reception for guests, friends and family members assumed a higher frenzy of celebration when Governor Oshiomhole and his wife, Lara arrived.
In his remark on the life and times of the Nonagerian,  the Governor paid glowing tributes, noting that his socio-economic contributions to the community is of public knowledge.
He emphasized that the Oshiomholes and Owumis have become an organic family by virtue of the marriage of his daughter to one of the sons of late Chief Benson Owumi.
Some of the children and dignitaries also corroborated the Governor in their remarks to bid farewell to the late community leader of the 16 children of the late Nonagerian. Dr. Uvie is the husband to Dr (Mrs.) Winifred who is the daughter of Edo State Governor.
