Ilorin – The Self-Reliance Economic Advancement Programme, a non-governmental microfinance institution, has said that it is in support the anti-corruption campaign of President Muhammadu Buhari.
The Executive Director of the programme, Mr Oladokun Olatunde, made this known in an interview withThe Nigerian Observer in Ilorin on Sunday.
Olatunde said that only those who had skeleton in their cupboard would be afraid of the anti-corruption campaign of Mr President.
He advised the Federal Government to be sincere with the campaign, adding that it was only those that had enriched themselves with government money that would be afraid.
“I pity our president because many people think he is not working but he is doing his best.
Olatunde urged the Federal Government to effectively communicate with the citizens because lack of communication might confuse people and make them lose hope in the government.
He said that a major challenge facing employers of labour was multiple taxation.
He advised the government to be transparent and fulfil its campaign promises to the people.
