OLOGBO – Edo State Governor, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole has promised to provide a big boat for Ologbo riverside communities in Ikpoba Okha Local government Area in the state before the end of this month for effective security patrol of the water and safety in the communities.

He made the promise at Ologbo rally when the on-going ward campaign of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the September 10, 2016 governorship election veered to Ikpoba Okha Local Government Area yesterday.

The riverside communities to be covered by the patrol boat comprise Abiala, Kolokolo, Kara, Ajamogha and Ajoki among others and it is to be used to ensure that political thugs were not imported into Edo state for the forth-coming governorship election by the opposition party.

Governor Oshiomhole also told the Ologbo people that the remaining dilapidated blocks of classrooms at the Ohen I Primary School popularly known as Ologbo Primary School, which was the venue for the APC rally, would be rebuilt and upgraded the ultra-modern red-roof school, adding that teachers would be deployed to both the primary and secondary schools in Ologbo.

Consequently, he directed that names of persons in Ologbo community qualified to be teachers in should be compiled and sent through a leader, Prince Johnson Ashileghe and certified by the Odionwere for employment so that they would be deployed to teach in the schools.

At the Ologbo rally Governor Oshiomhole received members of the Peoples Democratic Party in Ologbo that defected to the APC and assured, “APC does not discriminate” and that Mr. Godwin Obaseki is “a completely detribalized man” that would sustain the good work of building infrastructure he had started in the state pointing out, “Godwin and I have the same passion.”

The APC ward campaign also took place at Erediauwa on Upper Sokponba, Santana Market on Sapele road and the Upper Mission axis in Ikpoba Okha council area to canvass vote for Mr. Godwin Obaseki and his running-mate Hon. Philip Shaibu come September 10, 2016 governorship election.
