BENIN CITY –– Edo State Deputy Governor, Mr. Lucky Imasuen, has commended the President of Believers’ Loveworld and Founder of Christ Embassy, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome for changing the face of Christianity in the country.
Mr. Imasuen made the commendation yesterday in Benin City at the opening of the Loveworld Exhibition 2008, organised by Christ Embassy.
The deputy governor explained that the Believers’ Loveworld and Christ Embassy had, through Pastor Oyakhilome, made Christians to know that the church had something to exhibit, adding that they were no longer ashamed to preach what they believed.
While noting that the Believers’ Loveworld Ministry had continuously displayed the beauty of Christianity, he pointed out that it had changed people’s negative impression of pastors in Nigeria.
Mr. Imasuen expressed delight at the exhibition of materials which showcased the vision, mission and message of Believers Loveworld, stressing that through the exhibition, one could experience and understand what was seen from afar.
The deputy governor who said he learnt so much about the ministry during last year’s exhibition, explained that he was exposed to the great work of the church around the world, pointing out that it was amazing.
He expressed joy over the impact of Healing School in so many homes where hope had been lost, adding that the distribution of Rhapsody of Realities, a study Manual of the church had turned many hardened criminals to evangelists for Christ.
In an interview, Mr. Imasuen described Pastor Chris Oyakhilome as a humble man of God who practices what he preaches.
Meanwhile, as part of activities marking the “Love World Exhibition 2008”, of the Christ Embassy Int. Inc., the pastor of Christ Embassy, Ugbowo chapter, Pastor (Mrs.) I.B. Uduoise, yesterday commissioned and formally declared open the new Christ Embassy satellite church at Ughowo, in Benin City.
In her address, Pastor Uduoise said that the execution of the satellite project was to communicate God’s message’through the internet to the entire human race, adding that the word must be amplified through every means to drastically abort the spiritual dehydration and ignorance in the world today, starting from Edo State which she described as Jerusalem.
She, however, described this year’s Love World exhibition as the first ever city-based exhibition held in the ministry.
After conducting Pastor Uduoise and her entourage round the various sections of the satellite church, by Pastor Onos, Uduoise expressed delight and described the exhibition as a remarkable one.
Pastor Onos enjoined interested persons to partner with the Inner City Mission (ICM), Loveworld Television Ministry (LTM), Healing School Kiddies Stand, Gloveworld Cyber Ministry (GCM), as well as church project which involve facility management, property maintenance, building construction, all available at the Christ Embassy satellite church.
Other areas visited were Heaven stand, Loveworld Ministerial College, Rhapsody of Reality, Loveworld Christian network among others.
