IRRUA - The President of Esan Film Makers Association, Stephen Amedu has unfolded plans by the body to host Esan Cultural Festival soon.
The three-day programme, which is billed to commence November 28, will end November, 30 and is expected to hold at Eguare Primary School, Irrua in Esan Central Local Government Area.
He said the association had gone into partnership with the Esan Cultural Ambassador and publisher of Esan Magazine, Peter Iwelomen, as part of effort to make the programme a huge success.
The programme will, to a large extent, create a unique forum where the Esan Film Makers Association will help protect and preserve the Esan cultural values.
According to him, plans have also been perfected to organize the launch of Esan Theatre Hall in order to encourage the youths from the locality not only to embrace the industry but to develop their talents.
Consequently, Amedu appealed to Esan sons and daughters to generously contribute to make the dream come true.
He used the opportunity to eulogies the state government which he said was committed to the development and empowerment of youths in the state.
