JATTU-UZAIRUE-The Ogieneni of Uzairue HRH Alhaji K.I Omogbai has decried the persistent absence of water schemes in the nineteen communities that make up Uzairue clan. Speaking with newsmen in his palace recently, the royal father said none of this community enjoys local nor state governments water scheme.
The Ogieneni who stressed that close to three decades, Afowa, Afashio and Jattu communities who once enjoyed the state water scheme had now resorted to buying water from unclean sources, a situation which he said has brought untold hardship to his people.
He acknowledged that though some attempts were made in the past by some regimes and international organizations to ease water scarcity in his domain, he however expressed regrets that the efforts had not
