BENIN CITY –– Six months after the Edo State election Petition Tribunal nullified the election of Governor Oserhiemen Osunbor, the Appeal subsequently filed by the state government, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), yesterday commenced at the Federal Court of Appeal sitting in Benin City. Court dismisses ANPP appeal in Oyo IBADAN - The Court of Appeal yesterday dismissed the appeal filed by Chief Isiaka Ajimobi, the All Nigeria Peoples party, (ANPP) Governorship Candidate in Oyo State, for non-compliance with the court’s rules.
