EKPOMA- The Onogie of Ekpoma Kingdom, His Royal Highness, A.E. Abumere II (BL), has called on community leaders and the people of the community to support the new administration in Edo State led by Comrade Adams Oshiomhole.
Addressing Community leaders and the people in the area, the Onogie advised his subjects not to do anything contrary to the policies and programmes of the present administration, adding that, considering his eight years as president of the Nigeria Lanour Congress (NLC), Comrade Adams Oshomhole would bring about meaningful changes in terms of Infrastrutural facilities and other basic amenities.
HRH Abumere however called on Comrade Oshiomhole to constantly ensure the protection of the rule of law so that the people could reap the dividends of democracy.
The traditional ruler also enjoined the peoples’ governor to always uphold the principles of the rule of law and equity and pledge support for the new government.
Meanwhile in a release issued by Chiefs and elders of Ekpoma kingdom, they pledged their loyalty and support for the new government in Edo state and called on all sons and daughters to be law-abiding.
