TAKE or leave it. The bad digital or modern Nigerian whether he belongs to the elite class or is a talakawa, has an unscrupulous idiosyncracy that makes him stand out in a crowd of nationalities. Everyday, we see this unique Nigerian demeanour in action. Two examples. Recently, the governor of Edo State, Comrade Oshiomhole banned all levies in the state pending when new ones would be formally introduced. Expectedly, the prices of commodities should have dropped. But then this hasn’t been the case.

Ghana Elections : Who Succeeds President Kufuor?

There is going to be a re-run and it will be between the two leading candidates. Akufo – Addo won 4,159,429 votes which is 49.13 percent of the vote, against Atta Mill’s 4,056,634, which is 47.92 percent. Neither of the candidates got the 50 percent needed for an outright win. Kwesi Nduom of convention people’s party (CPP) came third with 1.3 percent of the ballot. The run-off has been fixed for December 28.
