LOKOJA - The Kogi State Local Government Election Tribunal has struck out 10 councillorship petitions filed by AC candidates.

The tribunal took the action because of AC’s candidates motion to withdraw their petitions against the 10 PDP candidates in Adavi Local Government.

The Chairman of the tribunal, Chief Magistrate Moses Gwatana, struck out the petitions at the resumed sitting of the tribunal in a joint-motion filed by counsel to the petitioners, Mr. Abdulkareem Isah.

Gwatana, commended the parties for their courage and patriotism in embracing an alternative method of settling their political differences.
