BENIN CITY - The Edo State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA), has invited the chairmen of Esan Central, Esan West and Esan South-East local government areas of the state and their respective state Social Welfare Officers, to the State Emergency Management Agency warehouse, Ministry of Works premises along Sapele Road, Benin City, to collect relief consignments meant for victims of natural disasters in their respective local government areas.
According to a press statement signed by J. A. Ukpokodu, on behalf of the commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development, Edo State, stated that it would be the turn of Esan Central Local Government Area, today, Friday, August 29, 2008, at 10.00 a.m., while Monday, September 1, and Tuesday, September 2, 2008, would be the turn of Esan West and Esan South – East local government areas, beginning from 10.00 a.m., respectively.
The release urged all the chairmen to come along with trailer lorry, to enable them convey their consignments to their respective council areas.
