The Benin Monarch, His Royal Majesty, Omo N’Oba N’Edo Uku Akpolokpolo, Oba Erediauwa has called on organizations to always employ the services of National Youth Services Corps members posted to their organization after the service year as a way of reducing the rate of unemployment on the country.
The Oba made the call when the state co-ordination Mr. Augustine Arokoyo led other management staff of NYSC on a courtesy visit to the Oba at the palace yesterday.
The Monarch commended the corps members for their various community projects and urged them to always be of good behaviour wherever they find themselves.
Earlier in an address, Mr. Augustine Arokoyo said he was at the palace where he formerly informed the Oba of his deployment to Edo State as the co-ordinator.
He expressed appreciation to the Oba for the care of the corps members deployed to Edo State as well as the staff of NYSC. He also thanked the Oba for the Land he donated to NYSC, and the gifs he always presents to the corps members during their orientation programme in the state.
Mr. Arokoyo, then solicited for royal blessings and support for him to be able to succeed in the state.
