EKIADOLOR-The authorities of the College of Education, Ekiadolor, Benin yesterday commenced the distribution of the Edo State Government Bursary Award of Ten thousand naira (N10,000.00) per student to her final year students of the Edo State origin.
Speaking before the cash presentation ceremony, the Provost, Professor Amen Victor Uhunmwangho said the Bursary Award was in fulfillment of the promise made by the state governor, Prof. Oserheimen Osunbor to assist the final year students of Edo State origin in tertiary institution of higher learning.
The provost commended the state government for its magnanimity and congratulated the beneficiaries urging them to make judicious use of the money.
Reacting on behalf of the beneficiaries, the Students Union President, Comrade Oka Eghosa thanked the State Government for its transparency and love for Edo State students. He also commended the authorities of the College of Education, Ekiadolor- Benin for the prompt payment of the bursary award to students, and advised the final year students to use the money wisely.
