Aab Tackle Man U

COPENHANGEN –Manchester United continue the defence of its UEFA Champions Leagues title today in an away Group E encounter against Aab Alborg in Denmark.

The Red Devils performed poorly in their match day one played on September 17 against Spanish team, Villarreal and secured a 1-1 draw at Old Trafford in England.

Aalborg BK welcome Manchester United to Denmark aiming to build on their encouraging start in Group E and increase the woes of the UEFA Champions League title holders.

Aab managed by Bruce Rioch earned a point in a goalless draw with Celtic FC on Match Day one.
Aab would have been satisfied with their impressive result from their first game with Celtic but they deserve better result this time around.

United’s draw with Villarreal by contrast, ended their 12 game winning streak in the UEFA Champions League home games – and was their first blank in Old Trafford since Villarreal’s last visit there in November, 2005.

Man ‘U’ and Aab Alborg have never met before but Aab manager, Bruce Rioch has experience facing the Red Devils. He would like to maintain his 100 percent winning record at home and particularly in the home fixtures against the Old Trafford club today.

Rioch, (former Scottish International) who was formerly Middlesbrough of England’s manager had led the club to a 1-0 home victory against Sir Alex Ferguson’s side in the English top flight in January 1989.

He later achieved a similar home result with Arsenal FC in November, 1985. In the said campaign, the team lost by the same score at Old Trafford.
