ABUDU – The where about of a young man Godwin Amen, has continued to bother his family, friends and colleagues as he was said to have flee home on account of threat to his life by his father, for refusing to take to Islamic religion.
According to information reaching our crime desk, the said Godwin Amen who is a Christian by religion, is the first son of his parents, Alhaji and Hajia Gowin. As a Christian. Amen was asked to denounce Christianity and subscribe to the Islamic faith or risk his life.
Investigation revealed that when Godwin Amen refused the entreaty of his parents to dump Christianity his life was threatened; whereupon he fled home to an unknown destination.
Attempts by our reporter to get the comments of Amen’s father failed as he rebuffed the questions. He was however, said to have reported his son to the Islamic Community to help him hunt the fleeing Amen.
However, members of the Godwin family have appealed to members of the public who have useful information on the where about of Godwin Amen to report to the nearest police or contact the family.
