Guri LG Spends N44 Million On Water Projects

 

 

The chairman of Guri Local Government of Jigawa, Abdullahi Bulama said today that the Council spent N44 million on motorised water projects in five villages. Bulama ,who made this known in an interview with the Newsmen in Guri,said each of the projects cost N8.8 million. He said the council had embarked on water


project in Dagana, Arin, Dangamare and Takaza to ensure that people enjoy the dividends of democracy at the grassroots. He further said N57 million had been expended on solar powered water system in different locations to supply water to six villages.


“Each of the projects, which cost N9.5 million ,will benefit Alanjo, Zugobia, Marzangua, Gaduwa, Targanyamma and Darmagonyamma communities,’’ he added. Bulama solicited for the support of the people in order to ensure even distribution of amenities.
