ETF Approves Funds For Dev

Funds worth N75.24 million for the execution of various projects in Auchi Polytechnic has been approved by the Education Trust Fund E.T.F.).

The approved funds would be used this year, for Normal Intervention for projects, library development, research, academic staff training and development.

A release by the Information and Public Relations Department of the Polytechnic says staff expected to forward viable research proposals to the Research and Development Committee of the institution for processing before they could benefit from the research fund.

It noted that ETF could only release money for approved research projects for individuals or groups. Also approved by the fund is money for staff on post graduate programmes to undertake short exchange programmes within the country and overseas.
