BENIN CITY - As the one-week Loveworld Exhibition 2008, organised by Christ Embassy, which opened on Monday this week, progresses, it has been asserted that the exhibition is one of the ways through which the ministry (Christ Embassy) reaches the world with the message of salvation, through Jesus Christ.
The assertion was made on Monday at the official opening ceremony of the 2008 Loveworld Exhibition by the Chief Host, Pastor Joy Amenkhienan.
The pastor stated that Christ Embassy in a bid to reach the present generation takes advantage of every opportunity, to bring the “good news” to the people, adding that the ministry was aware of the challenges facing the present generation; hence it had decided to unveil the solutions as contained in the gospel of Jesus Christ.
While noting that the first Loveworld Exhibition took place in Benin City, last year (2007), Pastor Amenkhienan stated that the vision statement of the Loveworld Exhibition is to take the divine presence of God to people, demonstrating the character of the spirit as its driving force.
Speaking earlier while declaring the exhibition open, Deputy Governor of Edo State, Mr. Lucky Imasuen, commended the President of Believers’ Loveworld and Founder of Christ Embassy, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, for changing the face of christianity in the country.
Mr. Imasuen stated that the Believers’ Loverworld and Christ Embassy had, through Pastor Oyakhilome, made christians to know that the church had something to exhibit, adding that they were no longer ashamed to preach what they believed.
