BENIN CITY – The member representing Esan West Constituency at the Edo State House of Assembly, Hon. Bright Ehi Omokhodion has admonished Christians to learn how to give thanks to God at all times.

Hon. Bright Omokhodion who is the Chairman, Edo State House of Assembly Standing Committee on Information, Youth and Sports, gave this admonition yesterday at the annual thanksgiving Mass and Bazaar of St Patrick’s Catholic Church, Ugbowo, Benin City, Edo State

The lawmaker who was the chairman at the occasion, said that no man could qualify the benefit received from God on a daily basis.

Hon. Omokhodion who read the first lesson from the Book of Isaiah 25: 6 – 9, therefore enjoined Christians to use whatever they have to serve God just as he urged them to re-examine the size of their harvest.

In a homily, the Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Andrew Aigbe Obinyan lamented the insecurity of lives and property in Nigeria, particularly Edo State.
