3,000 Tomato Farmers Register In Adamawa

 

YOLA - No fewer than 3,000 tomato farmers in Yola have registered in the ongoing Federal Government farmer data base exercise, according to the tomato farmers’ leader.


Malam Adamu Danwazam, the Chairman of the Amalgamated Perishable Food Crop Producers Association, told newsmen , in Yola that the farmers had already submitted their registration forms.


“The Adamawa State Agricultural Development Programme (ADP) distributed the forms to the farmers to enable us benefit from the programme,” Danwazam said.


He commended the Federal Government for the gesture, adding that it would enable them access to fertilisers and other inputs.
