BENIN CITY – Married women have been advised to be submissive to their husbands.
Speaking during an exhortation at the 10th year marriage anniversary and blessing ceremonies between Envangelist Glory Osariemen Oamen and Pastor Idemudia Timothy Oamen, both of the Divine International Christian Assembly International Incorporated, one of the officiating Priests, Rev. Dr. Grace Imoesiri Ekperigin, J.P Dwelt on the topic “Marriage Reveals the Relationship Between God and Man”.

Rev. (Dr.) Grace Ekperigin stated that the marriage institution represented God and mankind, adding that, “ What God has joined together let no man put asunder”

Rev. Ekperigin who is also the Director, Women’s International Network (WIN), Nigeria satellite, maintained that the promise of God was that anyone who believed in him shall receive the power of the Holy Ghost .

Rev. Ekperigin lauded the zeal and untiring efforts of the couple towards the spread of evangelism and the winning of souls for Christ and wished them a fruitful marriage life, God’s wisdom and protection for their entire household.

The officiating Priest also appealed to members of the congregation who are yet to solemnize their marriages to perfect them, even as she enjoined them to live good Christian lives worthy of emulation.

The couple were later blessed by the Ministers of God led by Rev. Solomon Udi, the General Overseer of the Divine Love Gospel Church, Benin City.

The reception later took place at Osayi Avenue, Off Ugbor Road, Benin City.
