Have fear of God, Uduaghan tells Nigerians

BENIN CITY – Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan of Delta State has urged Nigerians to have the fear of God in all their dealings.

The governor made the remark on Sunday during a thanksgiving service to conclude the week-long convention of the Gospel Light International Ministries (New Covenant Gospel Church, Benin City.

Dr. Uduaghan who was the special guest at the ceremony, noted that Nigeria would be a better place if most Nigerians had the fear of God and served him with all their hearts.

While extolling the virtues of the General Overseer of the church, Rev (Dr.) Felix Omobude, the Delta State governor called on Nigerians, particularly the Christians, to continue with their fervent prayers for this present administration and sustenance of democracy in Nigeria.

In a sermon, the Bishop of Grace of God Mission, Onitsha, Anambra State, Rev. (Dr.) Paul Nwachukwu called on Christians to be prepared for the second coming of Jesus Christ.

According to him, current happenings on earth are pointers to the fact that the second coming of Jesus Christ is at hand, saying that Christians should be prepared in order not to be caught napping.

“The time is at hand and the Christians should make haste to receive their Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ,” Bishop Nwanchukwu added.
