Akwa Retain Uwua

UYO - Akwa United have recalled Godwin Uwua, one day after dissolving the technical crew and management of the club.

Chairman, Isong Isang announced that they will retain Uwua so that the club has continuity within its coaching ranks.

“We are retaining only the technical adviser because we cannot operate in a vacuum.

“Before the end of the week I will announce other appointments into the management and technical crew,” Isang said.

The club also retained its newly appointed media officer, Uwem Ekoh who replaced Lawrence Okorie at the start of the season.

Akwa United have had a poor start to the season as they lost at home to Rangers in week 2.
