Consequences Of Disobedience

By ERNEST IKHUREIGBE

If there is anything God cherishes, It’s absolute obedience . He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him. Heb 11 : 6. There is no limit to God’s Blessings for those that believe and obey His word. Beloved, No one can deceive Him as He has all it entails to know the intents of your heart. Jeri. 17: 10 states, I the Lord search the heart… even to give everyman according to his way, and according to the fruit of his doings.

Housing Delivery In Edo State: I.E Chukwujekwu, Says Gov Osunbor Has Broken New Grounds
HERE is usually a vision behind the setting up of any government agency, ministry or department. Housing remains a highly challenging project for both the citizens and government of any country because it is one of the basic needs of man. The Edo Development and Property Authority (E.D.P.A) is the Edo State Government agency charged with the responsibility of providing Housing for people and managing its property. Recently, the Sunday OBSERVER interacted with the General Manager of the Authority. His name is Dr. I.E. Chukwujekwu, a man who is highly fortified intellectually, matched by an equally profound professional depth. Highly creative, innovative and organised, Dr. Chukwujekwu went down memory lane in explaining what E.D.P.A. was in the past and what it is now. This interaction with the General Manager and Chief Executive of E.D.P.A. is highly informative and educative. It has been carefully packaged for your Sunday relaxation.

Victories Won At The Cross

By REV. ALONGE JOHN

WHY is the Cross so important to you? Isn’t it just a symbol of salvation? To the Christian, we realise that Jesus gave His life willingly here to set mankind free from the bondage of sin. Christ arose from the dead and now sits at the right hand of God in Heaven, so why do we need to consider the Cross any further?

Implications Youth Restiveness

By TOJU OGBE

The issue of youth restiveness is not alone restricted to the Nigerian Society but virtually every society as a result of the social, cultural, political, economic as well as psychological trends. This means therefore that youth restiveness varies accordingly even within a state like the Nigerian society. According to the Oxford Advanced Learners Dictionary, youth restiveness means ‘a situation when the young individuals in a society are unable to be still or quiet, difficult to control, especially because one is not satisfied with something.” No individual was born or destined to be a rebel and certainly not even an incompetent government will want to see her youths in a restive state. What then is responsible for youth restiveness in Nigeria?

Thoughts On Nigerian Economy Imperative Of Divers

By FAITH UANGBAOJE

The petroleum based economy of Nigeria, long hobbled by political instability, corruption, and poor macro economic management, is undergoing substantial economic reform under the new civilian administration. Nigeria’s former military rulers failed to diversify the economy; the economy has overdependence on the capital-intensive oil sector, which provides 20% of GDP, 95% of foreign exchange earnings and about 65% of government revenues. The largely subsistence agricultural sector has not kept up with rapid population growth, and Nigeria, once a large net exporter of food, now imports some of its food products.
