Our Game Plans Stand - Chukwu

NASARAWA ––Coach Christian Chukwu of Rangers International FC of Enugu has maintained that their week 4 defeat in Lafia will not affect the team’s game plans to lift the league title this season.

He told OBSERVERsports after the Lafia game that the goal margin did not reflect the efforts of the players in the game as they gave their best.

Chukwu, fondly called chairman by admirers, however admitted that, “a team is not expected to win all matches”.

“In every match both visiting and home teams have the same purpose of playing to win and not to lose and the game can at the end of the day go either way.

“It does not out rightly mean that losing makes a particular club very bad, there are other plaguing issues that can affect performance at any given time, he explained.

The former Super Eagles handler however maintained that they will look into the grey areas to ensure an improved performance in the next away match (week 5) against Enyimba in Aba.
