Flood Control: EDHA set up c’ttee to probe contractors

BENIN CITY – Edo State House of Assembly has set up an Ad-hoc Committee to investigate the Uzebu Quarters, Erhunmwunse and Siluko Road flood control contract.

The contractor known as Loh & Or construction, Nigeria Ltd, according to a Press release signed by the Clerk of the House, Barrister Edward Agho is to appear before the committee on Wednesday, September 10, 2008 at 12 noon prompt.

The statement further added that all government functionaries also invited through individual letters should endeavour to appear as directed.

Members of the Ad-hoc committee are Hon. Emmanuel Ewah Okoduwa (Esan North East II) Chairman, while Fred Omoigberai representing the two Owan constituencies are to serve as members respectively.
