Ehima Moves To Decongest Kingsquare • Embarks On Construction Of City Central Park • New Benin Market To Go Down

As part of efforts to decongest the Kings Square Benin City, authorities of the Oredo Local Government Council have commenced the construction of a City central park at the Kings Square Benin-City.

 

Making this known in an exclusive interview with the Sunday Observer in Benin. Deacon Mike Ehima, the Council chairman said that the new park will serve as parking lot for commercial vehicles and other categories of cars currently being parked at the Kings Square, thereby creating chaotic human and vehicular traffic congestion in the area.
