The Dream Team IV tutored by Samson Siasia has lived up to expectation so far, winning three group games and a quarter final match against Cote d’Ivoire whom they beat 2-0 last Satyrday.
Today’s match would be quite explosive. It is going to be very technical as the two teams will showcase the stuff they are made of.
The Belgian team which had started their contention for the Olympic medal on a dismal note surprisingly won the two other group games. They went ahead to beat Italy by 3 - 2 goals in the quarter final decided last Saturday.
The goal keeper of the Under-23 Eagles Ambrose Uanzekin, has said that he expects nothing other than a tough match. This is because the Europeans are very technical in their game.
He also promised that they (Eagles) will overcome them today in Shanghai. That they will do so depends on their determination to really succeed.
Nigeria won gold medal in the Atlanta, 96 fiesta while Belgium clinched their only gold medal in the 1920 edition which they hosted.
