Megapp FC Lifts Enahoro Cup

BENIN CITY ––Megapp FC youth team has emerged winners of the 3rd edition of Chief (Dr) Anthony Enahoro Cup tournament final which was organised by FEYSOC here in the state capital.

Megapp FC pipped Bocas United 1-0 to lift the trophy padded with a handsome cash prize.

In the female category Vic-Biz Queens were at their best to stop Vienna College Queens 7-6 via penattus after full time scores stood barren.

Cash prizes and trophies were presented to the winners of the male and female final.

FEYSOC, the organizers of the tournament informed OBSERVER Sports that the tournament was packaged in honour of Chief (Dr) Anthony Enahoro, one time Federal Commissioner (Minister) for Information, Labour, Cultural Affairs, Sports and Co-operatives between 1967 – 75.

Chief Enahoro was one of the for most Nigerians who fought for Nigeria’s Independence.
