AUCHI – An appeal has gone to all members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Edo State chapter, to close ranks and work with the state Governor, Professor (Senator) Oserhiemen Osunbor in the task of repositioning the state for greater height and excellence.
Special Assistant to the Governor on Political Matters and General Duties (Edo North), Hon. Francis Izuagie made the appeal in a chat with newsmen in Auchi during the week.
Hon. Izuagie while calling on all stakeholders within the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to continue to support the governor, stated that the governor needed the support of all right-thinking people of the state to succeed.
The Special Assistant who used the occasion to congratulate the governor on his performances and achievements so far, urged the people of the state to continue to support the governor morally and spiritually.
The governor, he said, was determined to take the state to greater height, adding that if given the needed support and encouragement, the state, within the next couple of years, would regain its lost glory.
The Special Assistant stated that the governor had virtually touched all nooks and crannies of the state through massive road reconstruction across the three senatorial districts of the state.
